MY MOM KAREN BUSBY HAD A STROKE IN MARCH AND HAS BEEN IN HOSPITALS AND REHAB EVER SINCE. SHE IS CURRENTLY DOING REHAB AT WYNNE HEALTHCARE CENTER. HER EXPENSES HAVE GOTTEN TO THE POINT WE MUST SELL OUR BELOVED FARM. I (HER DAUGHTER; BETH BUSBY) AM TRYING TO RAISE MONEY TO PURCHASE THE FARM AND THEREBY GIVING KAREN THE MONEY SHE NEEDS FOR MEDICAL EXPENSES AND YET STILL KEEP THE FARM. BIG B BARNS IS THE BUSINESS WE STARTED TOGETHER AND IS A NON-PROFIT. MY MOM HAS BEEN AN IMPORTANT ROLEMODEL TO ME AND MANY OTHERS IN OUR EFFORT TO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE. ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX EXEMPT.

We are a small farm open to the public. We have been in the same location for over 30 years. Recently we have opened our farm to the public in an effort to share our wonderful way of life and to educate people on buying local, raising livestock, and going green. We provide many community events, youth and adult programs, educational seminars, and training of all kinds. We rely on donations and volunteers to keep these programs free to the public. Want to help? .
We can accommodate any size group for a farm tour. Small group tours are welcome Monday through Saturday during our normal business hours. Just call to make sure someone is available. Sunday tours are by appointment only. We try to allow as much hands on education as possible. Big B Barns provides a fun way to learn about the farm, the animals, and the environment. You can actually touch, feed, or milk the animals. We can also customize your tour to your groups needs. Anything from tagging along with the daily farm chores to a special educational program featuring the specific animal of your choice. Having several therapy animals, we often have guests with special needs and can make tours accessible for many disabilities. Like most of our services, our farm tours are based on donations.

We have many events at our farm. Most of our events are free to the public and supported by donations and volunteers. We also have hands on learning clinics throughout the year to teach farming and animal husbandry techniques.
Our biggest event we host every spring is Horsin' Around. An old fashioned farm fair with a sampling of just about everything we do on the farm, lots of hands on demonstrations, and local and organic vendors.

We offer natural horsemanship training clinics, boarding and on site training. We don't "break" our hourse but rather we develop a trust and partnership with your horse. For more information, visit our horse training page.

Big B Barns hosts most events on our farm in Wynne Arkansas. We are approximatly an hour from Memphis TN and an hour and a half from Little Rock AR. Our farm is 16 miles north of I-40 at Forrest City. Although we are rural, we are only 1/2 mile from the Wynne city limits. We can also set up on site informational petting zoos at your event. Click here for a map and directions.

We also have overnight accommodations. The Tack Room is a fully independant attached mother-in-laws quarters. It has a rustic cowboy theme. The Bunk House is a separate building from the main farmhouse. It has two stories with a bathroom downstairs. It is smaller than the Tack Room but perfect for a more rustic retreat. We include breakfast fresh from the farm and of course a tour of the farm. Our Lodges are also available for weekly rental as well as available for interns. For more information or pictures; go to Lodging page.
Birthday Parties We offer themed birthday parties tailored to any age. We can also do a farm cake, decorations, petting zoo, age specific animal education, activities, photos, treats for the animals, and more. Be sure the kids come in farm clothes!
In Memory of Karen Busby
My mother, my mentor, my friend.
My mother and I had a dream; to create a healthy, wholesome, environmentally sound farm combining the best modern advances in technology and animal husbandry with the self-suffecient no waste mentality of our forefathers. Mom always felt that we should open our farm to the public to share our blessing with others and so we started giving tours, seminars, and demonstrations.
I carry on this tradition in honor of you mom.
